Who Is Antoni Porowski?

Antoni Porowski is a Canadian personality, chef and author who made his name on Netflix’s rebooted version of Queer Eye.

Porowski is the food and wine expert on Queer Eye and says that working in his family’s Polish restaurant as a busboy allowed him to nurture his love for food.

He worked his way up the industry and now co-owns The Village Den restaurant in New York.

Alongside his four Queer Eye co-stars, Porowski starred in Taylor Swifts’s music video for her single You Need To Calm Down.

What Is Easy-Bake Battle?

This show will see home chefs go head-to-head in baking challenges, using only an Easy-Bake-style oven. Competitors can win $25,000 per challenge, with the ultimate winner getting the change to win up to $100,000.

The official synopsis for the show is:

‘Life is complicated, but cooking doesn’t have to be! Enter Easy-Bake Battle, a new culinary competition series inspired by Hasbro’s iconic Easy-Bake Oven, featuring skilled and ultra clever home cooks facing off and using their most ingenious kitchen hacks to prove who can make the easiest, fastest, and most delicious food.’

Easy-Bake Battle will have several guest judges. These include Netflix’s Nailed It alumni Jacques Torres as well as Iron Chef’s Kristen Kish.

In an interview with Variety, Netflix VP of nonfiction, Jenn Levy said, ‘We got to know Antoni on ‘Queer Eye,’ and we always knew there was more to do with him…He makes food super accessible.’

The series consists of eight 30-minute episodes. Easy-Bake Battle will air on Netflix on 12 October 2022.
