Darcy is an experienced journalist passionate about celebrity culture and entertainment. After gaining a degree in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths University she has also become a social media specialist, always keeping informed on the latest trends. With almost five years of experience in media, her expertise is analysing platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. When she's not tracking the latest trending content, she’s watching films and eating lots of chocolate.
Ella is the Head of Content at Freshered and also works a freelance journalist at GRV Media, writing for HITC and Reality Titbit. Her interests lie in news and anything culture related including entertainment, musicals, books, and social media. Ella is also a big supporter of student media and writes for her university’s newspaper as well as hosting her own show on the radio station.
Ellen is a freelance journalist studying MA Broadcast Journalism at Cardiff University. Her work has appeared in publications such as Teen Vogue and Al Jazeera, and tends to focus on politics and current affairs. Her involvement in student radio station Burn FM lead to an interview she conducted winning Student Radio Moment of the Year in 2022. She has been writing for Freshered since February 2022. Before moving into management, writing about the ridiculous antics of the Made in Chelsea crew was by far his most enjoyable topic.
Lottie is the Head of Audience for Entertainment and Gaming, working with the teams on HITC, Reality Titbit, The Focus and Freshered. She is passionate about news being accessible to everyone, and focuses on bringing audiences quality content that they enjoy. I'm also the former fashion editor and current editor in chief of Liberty Belle Magazine. I am a French and Politics student at the University of Bristol. Martin Cooper is a senior editor and writer at The Focus. The man behind the style guide comes from a newspaper and magazine background and has worked in the sports, aeronautical and hospitality industries. While head of production at The Argus he appeared on the Jeremy Vine radio show and worked as a freelancer on the sports desk at The Sunday Times. Martin is also an FA Level 1-qualified coach and took his youth team from division five to division one in two seasons before going out at the top.
Hi, I'm Michael! I'm a Social Policy and Sociology student at the University of Birmingham. I am the current Head of Podcasting at BurnFM, a student-run radio station, and also have my own podcast. Rachael has previously worked as a games journalist for 6 years before becoming Head of Gaming Culture and then a Senior Editor at GRV. When not delving into the latest must-have game, Rachael enjoys music, movies, reading and getting out into the Irish countryside

As a recent graduate from Cardiff University with a BA in Journalism, Media and Culture and a MA in Creative Writing, I think it's safe to say that writing is my life! During my time at university, being an integral part of Quench Magazine as Copy Editor and later Music Section Editor open the doors for me to open discourse about the things I love; fashion, music, film/ TV, and popular culture takes up a large majority of my social media feeds. When I'm not fangirling over the latest Twitter dramas or Beyoncé's Renaissance , you can find me equal parts thriving in Cardiff's night life or curled up at home re-watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Seth Nobes is a writer at Freshered, focusing on university sport. He is currently studying for an MA and NCTJ in Sports Journalism at St Mary's University, Twickenham after graduating with a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Birmingham. Seth has written on a wide variety of sports, ranging from football and cricket, to sailing and judo, for publications such as Vavel, Deep Extra Cover, the Sports Gazette, and Redbrick.
