The British popstar Becky Hill announced her engagement to partner Charlie G on Instagram and Twitter (12th January) in a post that showed off her new ring.
Eagle-eyed fans had spotted the sapphire on Becky’s hand in a post the day before. But they had to wait another 24 hours for this to be confirmed by the star herself. Her post caption read ‘turns out he actually does like me 💍’ with her post showing just how loved up the couple are, celebrating the happy news on a picturesque beach. What a perfect place for a proposal!
The 27-year-old had been enjoying a getaway with her partner in the Maldives, with fans following her experience on social media. From gaining her open water diving course qualification to becoming a bride-to-be, Becky’s holiday has most definitely been memorable!
Charlie and Becky have been dating for almost six years, with the couple being the perfect match for each other. The pair, who both work in the music industry, have been congratulated by many of their celebrity friends and colleagues with Richard Fairlie, who toured with Becky on her 2021 tour, giving the couple a ‘congrats!!!’ message.
The DJ, Ben Nicky, also took to his keyboard to give his love to the engaged couple, in a comment that read ‘Yessss!!!! @thatcharlieg . Go on son! ❤️❤️❤️’
2022 is most certainly looking like one to remember, with the engagement marking the start of many exciting plans the couple have planned this year.
