What you need:
An ice-lolly mould maker. These are available on Amazon – for not much at all – depending on the size and quantity you wish. Wooden or plastic reusable popsicle sticks.
How to Make:
These are an enjoyable and tasty way to enjoy hot days in the sun.
All you need is the liquor of your favourite choice, and the fruit that you wish to make your lollies with.
By mixing the juice, fruit, and alcohol together, and then pouring it into the ice-lolly mould, simply place in your freezer overnight or for at least four hours.
After they’re set, remove the ice-lollies carefully and enjoy them on a hot summer’s day.
The Best Mixes to Try:
Below are some of my favourite recipes, which I always make during summer. These are very refreshing, fruity, and make a difference from your usual summer cocktails.
Prosecco Pops:
This recipe involves strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries all chopped in half, a splash of lemonade, accompanied by 1 bottle of the Prosecco of your choice. This can also be topped off with pink lemonade.
After placing a mix of the fruits into the ice lolly moulds, fill the rest up with your drink concoction and then freeze.
These are light and refreshing ice-lollies for Prosecco lovers and I would highly recommend this boozy ice pop!
Tequila Sunrise Lollies:
Nothing can beat the combination of tequila and lime. Simply place your tequila, pineapple juice, grenadine, and lime juice into your ice-lolly maker.
Before placing the ice pop stick into the unfrozen mixture, put a lime on top of the liquid. Then push the ice-lolly stick through the lime and set in the freezer for six hours.
This creates a tequila sunrise lolly, with a frozen lime-infused at the bottom.
Mojito Watermelon Pops:
These are some of the most aesthetically pleasing ice-lollies to make.
Simply cut your watermelon into triangular wedges, add sugar, mint, and lime to the bottom of them, and soak them in a rum mixture, freeze them, and then enjoy your frozen fruit alcohol-infused watermelon slice!
