Marvel Studios has finally released the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but gives no clues as to who will take over following the death of Chadwick Boseman.
This film comes out two years after the death of the original Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman who passed away in 2020 due to cancer and will hit cinemas on November 11.

This film follows the leaders of the kingdom of Wakanda as they fight to protect their nation from outside forces after the death of King T’Challa. As they fight, a new threat emerges from the hidden undersea nation of Talokan.
The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer gives us a better look at the new Black Panther, who appears to be a woman, sporting a new suit.
In 2019, talks about a sequel to Black Panther were happening, however, after Boseman’s death, Marvel decided they were not going to recast T’Challa. Instead, they gave the title to an established character and incorporated it into the narrative of the new film.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever also features a new kingdom that resides underwater, which is something quite new for the MCU.
Who Is The New Black Panther?
It has not officially been confirmed who the next Black Panther is going to be and with the trailer giving away no hints, fans have had to go back to the comics for clues.
Many fans believe that Shuri will take over, as occurs in the comics. However, the MCU is known for their surprises, so there are others who say the new hero is Nakia.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever cast
There are many returning characters for this sequel, as happens in most MCU films.
Shuri, Princess of Wakanda played by Letitia Wright is back for the sequel. As well as the undercover spy for ‘Dora Milaje’, Wakanda special forces, Nakia, portrayed by Lupita Nyong’o.
The head of Dora Milaje, Okoye is back. Played once again by Danai Gurira, who is best known for her role as Michonne in The Walking Dead.
Other cast members include Winston Duke (Us), Dominique Thorne (If Beale Street Could Talk), Florence Kasumba (Wonder Woman), Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum), Angela Bassett (American Horror Story) and Martin Freeman (The Hobbit).
