Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson Confirmed To Join Fast & Furious 10 Cast

Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson has been confirmed to be joining the cast of Fast & Furious 10 after Vin Diesel announced it on Instagram.

The star of the long-running film series took to social media last night, Saturday April 9, to confirm his new cast member for the upcoming project saying: ‘You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology.’

Who is Brie Larson?

The 32-year-old actor is no stranger to the big screen, she’s been acting since she was a teenager, but got her real adult debut with the 2015 film Room for which she received an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a British Academy Film Award.

The Oscar-winner then went on to star in Kong: Skull Island, alongside Tom Hiddleston, before she joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the legendary comic-book icon Captain Marvel in 2019. She then starred in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game and has been tipped to make a cameo in the upcoming Disney+ series Ms Marvel.

What We Know About Fast & Furious 10

Details of the tenth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise have been kept tightly under wraps, but alongside Larson, previously announced cast members, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang, Jason Momoa and Daniela Melchior, will feature in the film.

According to The Wrap, Justin Lin has been confirmed to be directing, and producing alongside Diesel, with the film set to hit theatres May 19, 2023.
