The Dancing On Ice series 15 cast is out there. The show will air on Sunday 15 January 2023 and we can’t wait.
Following on from last year’s winner, Regan Gascoigne, Dancing On Ice has finally revealed the 11 contestants for the 2023 series.
Siva Kaneswaran
Siva Kaneswaran is part of the pop band The Wanted. Before joining the band, Kaneswaran was a model and actor. He appeared on ITV’s Rock Rivals.
On joining Dancing On Ice, he said ‘I’m looking forward to meeting all the cast. I want to learn how to skate and make my family proud of me and put on a show for everyone to see and hopefully not make a fool of myself!’
Patsy Palmer
Patsy Palmer is best known for her role as Bianca Jackson on EastEnders. This isn’t Palmer’s first try at reality TV, as she appeared on the 2005 series of Strictly Come Dancing coming in fifth place.
Talking about the show, Palmer said ‘I wanted to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. I thought ‘I’ll just go for it’ and it seems like a lot of fun.’

Michelle Heaton
Michelle Heaton was part of the pop group Liberty X, made up of stars from the ITV show Popstars, who didn’t make it to the winning band Hear’Say.
Liberty X went on to have seven Top 10 singles, including a single number one hit.
Heaton says, ‘Me and the kids are such huge fans of the show in general. I’ve always wanted to do it but I know I would never have been able to complete anything because of the way I was 18 months ago, so I’m really truly grateful that I’ve got it this year when I’m a lot stronger.’
Carley Stenson
Carley Stenson is best known for playing Steph Cunningham on Hollyoaks for eleven years.
Away from Hollyoaks, she appeared in several West End shows such as Spamalot, Legally Blonde and Les Miserables.
Darren Harriott
Stand-up comedian Darren Harriott has appeared on many different TV shows throughout the years. From celebrity Bake Off to 8 out of 10 Cats, Harriott is TV reality alumni.
When talking about Dancing On Ice, he said, ‘I’ve got giant feet, I don’t skate and I can’t dance! My family has already made bets – they’re making bets that I’ll fall on the first episode!’
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is new to the world of reailty TV, having just come off a win on Love Island with her partner Davide Saclimenti. Before Love Island, Cülcüloğlu was an actress and model.
Cülcüloğlu and Saclimenti will appear on their own ITV2 show next year, which sees them travel to both of their home countries.
Joey Essex
Joey Essex is a TV personality who made his name on TOWIE. He has appeared on shows such as I’m A Celebrity, ITV’s Splash, celebrity Masterchef and even Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Talking to Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning, Essex said ‘I would love to win. I’m going to put all my energy into this. This stage in my life, I’m so ready for this.’
Mollie Gallagher
Best known for playing Nina Lucas in Coronation Street, Mollie Gallagher will now be swapping the cobbles for ice. She won the NTA for Best Serial Drama Performance in 2021 for her storyline about being assaulted in a hate crime.
When talking about joining the show, Gallagher says ‘I’m really excited. I’ve not really felt nervous yet, strangely. But being here today, I am now feeling it a little bit!’
The Vivienne
The Vivienne appeared on the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and came out with the crown. Since winning, she has appeared on shows such as Celebrity Mastermind, The Weakest Link and Celebrity Juice.
She has said, ‘To be the first drag artist to take part in one of the big UK reality competition shows is truly an honour. I think it’s a big step forward for queer representation on TV.’
John Fashanu
John Fashanu is a former England and Wimbeldon FC footballer. After his football career, Fashanu turned to presenting. He is the oldest contestant to ever be on Dancing On Ice aged 60.
He said, ‘I don’t think it’ll come as a surprise to people that I’m very competitive – I am definitely in it to win it.’
Nile Wilson
Nile Wilson is known for winning bronze in the 2016 Olympics in the horizontal bars. He also has five Commonwealth gold medals and a World Champion silver.
He says ‘I’ve certainly not done much ice-skating but I am so excited for the opportunity. I’m so excited to get into that routine and to feel like an athlete again.’
The Dancing on Ice series 15 cast suggest we are in for a great show when things kick off later this month.
