Eight New Bruce Willis Movies Yet To Be Released

Vincent Ralph March 31, 2022

Bruce Willis may have retired from acting, but there are still plenty of his movies yet to be released. In total, the action legend has eight movies in post-production.

It was announced yesterday that Willis has been diagnosed with aphasia. This is a neurological condition that makes it difficult to communicate with or understand others. As a result, the actor’s family broke the heartbreaking news that he will no longer be taking on new roles.

That said, here are eight movies that Willis made before the announcement. Fans will be hoping all of them are released in due course.

Fortress: Sniper’s Eye

Also knows as Fortress 2, this moving is set for release on April 29. It stars Willis alongside Jesse Metcalfe, Chad Michael Murray and Kelly Grayson. The movie is the second in a planned trilogy. Willis plays Robert, a retired CIA agent who, along with his son Paul, are ready for the quiet life. But when Paul’s wife is abducted, he and his father must save her before it’s too late.

Vendetta

Directed by Jared Cohn, Vendetta stars Willis as Donnie Fetter, alongside Thomas Jane, Theo Rossi and Clive Standen. Telling the story of a man seeking revenge for the brutal murder of his daughter. After killing the person responsible for her death, William Duncan (Standen) has to contend with another dose of revenge, this time from the thug’s own brother.

The Wrong Place

The Wrong Place is expected to be released on July 15, 2022. It is directed by Mike Burns and stars Willis as Frank. Fellow stars include Ashley Greene and Michael Sirow. The movie is about a meth cook who is on the hunt for a former police chief before the latter can give testimony against him. But things don’t go according to plan.

Die Like Lovers

Prison Break fans will be pleased to see Dominic Purcell in this one. He stars alongside Willis and Andy Allo in a film with high concept twist. After a man dies following an experimental military program, a former black ops soldier replaces him to hunt down the killer.

Corrective Measures

This Willis vehicle is based on the graphic novel by Sean Patrick O’Reilly. It also stars Guardians of the Galaxy and The Walking Dead favourite Michael Rooker. Set in the world’s most dangerous maximum security jail, tensions among inmates and staff increase until the whole place is turned upside down.

White Elephant

Rooker and Willis team up again for White Elephant, directed by Jesse V. Johnson. An ex-marine officer gets entangled with the mob and must wrestle with his conscious. Also starring Olga Kurylenko, this one does not yet have a release date.

Paradise City

Willis stars as Ryan Swan in this Chuck Russell helmed action thriller. Swan goes on the warpath in the Hawaiian crime world to get revenge on the kingpin who murdered his father. Another one in post-production, this also contains the acting chops of John Travolta and Stephen Dorff. Most notably, this movie sees Willis and Travolta reuniting nearly 30 years after Pulp Fiction.

Wire Room

Willis stars alongside Kevin Dillon and Oliver Trevana in this one. The latter plays Eddie Flynn, an Irish arms dealer who is run out of the game and ends up travelling to America, where he acts as a middle man cartel business. Yet another movie in post-production, it is expected some time in 2022.

These new Bruce Willis movies should satisfy his fans. But it is still incredibly said that, once this films have been released, we will only have his, albeit wonderful, back catalogue to watch.
