Love Island season 8 winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti are set to get their own travel show.
According to ITV, the couple received 63% of the audience votes, with Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, receiving 14% of the votes and coming second in the show’s final.
Davide Sanclimenti is a business owner originally from Rome, Italy but resides in Manchester. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is of Turkish origin, but currently splits her time between Essex and Istanbul as an actress.
Ekin-Su and Davide Travel show
While on The Big Breakfast, Davide and Ekin-Su confirmed that they will be embarking on a travel show together.
‘We are going to road trip Italy and Turkey. So, one week in Itlay and one week in Turkey’ Davide revealed. ‘We are going to be on ITV2, so it’s going to be like our own programme.’
Ekin added: ‘It’ll be all real, you know, fighting and I’ll be cooking for him, he’ll be cooking for me. It’ll be like two cultures.’
ITV2 is yet to comment on when the show will be released.
Ekin-Su’s £1 million partnership
Since her success, Ekin-Su has gone on to land the biggest brand partnership in Love Island history. She has signed with Oh Polly, a clothing brand which according to The Sun aligns with Ekin-Su’s ‘values of sustainability.’
Out of the new 100 items on the company’s website, Ekin-Su wore 17, with Love Island finalist Tasha Ghouri wearing 13 and Danica Taylor wearing 11.
Ekin-Su’s brand deal is said to be worth over £1 million, which surpasses the record set by Love Island contestant turned Pretty Little Thing creative director, Molly-Mae Hague.
It is estimated that Ekin-Su will financially surpass Molly-Mae as the richest Love Island contestant.
Moving in together
Ekin-Su announced on Lorraine that Davide and herself plan to move in together. ’So basically, we’ve decided that we are moving in together, it’s confirmed. It’s official and we are thinking to move at the end of September, possibly to Essex, which is where I’m from.’
She adds, ‘Davide’s not been to Essex and I feel like it’s so nice because it’s near London, it’s easy to travel to, a bit of countryside, but then also a bit of that edginess to it as well.’
