The Selling Sunset reunion didn’t fail to bring us all of the drama, as the cast spilled the tea (as Chelsea calls it) on their honest views of Season 5. Everyone was present except for Christine and Amanza (who zoomed in for a rather pointless two minutes). While this was a disappointment to many, the remaining members of the Oppenheim Group made sure to give us all of the gossip. Here are our favourite moments from one explosive reunion episode.
#1 – Jason Broke Down Over His Breakup With Chrishell
Jason retains a rather tough, business exterior and gives himself little time on the show to become vulnerable. At the reunion however, when questioned about his feelings on the breakup, he burst into tears and struggled to answer the host, Tan’s, questions. It was clear that he is still very much in love with Chrishell but one thing hasn’t changed…he still doesn’t want to become a father just yet.
#2 – Chrishell Is Dating Australian Singer G Flip
All the rumours are true. Chrishell is now dating the non-binary Australian singer G Flip, and we couldn’t be happier for her. She had kept the news a secret until the reunion, with even the girls looking completely shocked as they had been kept out of the loop (Maya’s face as she found out was iconic!) The pair had been working together on a music video and realised what good energy they had together.
#3 – Vanessa Is Engaged
Vanessa didn’t really get much time to shine at the reunion, bless her. However, one piece of news she did bring was rather exciting. She is now engaged to her partner, Tom Fraud (you know, the guy who gave her the promise ring) with the wedding set to take place later this year. Exciting stuff!
#4 – Christine No Longer Works At The Oppenheim Group
Selling Sunset without Christine, surely not? Well while she failed to make an appearance at the reunion, Jason explained that, at the moment, ‘there is no place’ for Christine in the office. As much as we love her for all of the drama and iconic fashion choices, we aren’t surprised after what went down in Season 5! Christine has now set up her own business, becoming the CEO of a new Real Estate company so we can’t see her returning to the show any time soon.
#5 – Heather Is Embarking On An IVF Journey
Heather informed us that she is heading on an IVF journey with her husband, Tarek. Heather is stepmother to Tarek’s two children and felt like now is the right time to have a baby. We have watched Heather grow throughout five seasons of the show and we are sure she would make a wonderful mother!
#6 – Davina Still Hasn’t Sold The $75 Million Dollar House
Tan just had to bring this one up. Davina may have not sold THAT house but she confirmed that she did work with Adnan again on a different property, as seen on the show, and this time it was… SUCCESSFUL! Davina is slowly working her way up the ranks again and it seems like she’s heading in the right direction.
#7 – Maya Opened Up About Her Tragic Miscarriage
As we would have seen in Season 5, Maya was expecting a baby but tragically suffered a miscarriage after filming ended. At the reunion, she bravely opened up about her experience and wishes to provide help others who are going through what she is. Selling Sunset fans love Maya and are supporting her all of the way.
#8 – Emma Did Actually Qualify For The Olympics
Despite fans questioning Emma’s claims, she defended herself and stated how she did actually qualify for the pre-Olympics when she was fourteen, with her mom keeping all of the newspaper cuttings proving this. Emma has proved herself to be one multi-talented agent – selling houses, qualifying as an Olympic swimmer and making empanadas. Is there anything this girl can’t do?
