Season 3 of Never Have I Ever has just aired on Netflix and it’s left us even more confused than before. Are we Team Paxton or Team Ben, we’ve never been more uncertain. But one thing is for sure, we’re all Team Devi and we’re so not ready to say goodbye to her…just yet.
It has been confirmed that there will be another season! Yes, you can pull that party popper now. But… Season 4 will be its last. All good things have to come to an end, we guess.
Anyway, we’ve still got a whole new season to enjoy. Here is everything we know about it so far.
Never Have I Ever Season 4
Season four will be the last ever season of the teen show, confirmed by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.
The pair have promised more steamy romance and hilarious adventures, which is everything we already love about the show.
Hopefully, this news will satisfy all of the #Bevi and #Daxton fans out there. You know who you are!
As Devi makes her way into her senior year at Sherman Oaks (we almost lost her a year early to some school in the woods but we’re glad she changed her mind) we can only imagine the chaos she has in store for us.
Paxton has graduated but is he fully out of the picture? We hope not!
Things are also progressing for Kamala and Manish, so we’re thinking that we might be treated to a wedding? We’ll have to see about that one.
Why is Never Have I Ever ending?
In an interview with E!, creator Kaling declared, ‘I love the character Devi, I lover her family, I love her friends. I love this actress so much. I would do the show until she was a grandma.’
However, unfortunately, school doesn’t last forever and that means that Devi won’t be a teen forever.
I’m not crying, you are!
Kaling explained: ‘Unfortunately, young people grow up and you can’t be 17 forever.’
It’s the truth but we don’t want to believe it!
“I’m really happy with where we ended with the stories and the characters’ growth,’ she said. ‘It was a very emotional finale. I truly love this world and what the actors brought to these characters. It made it one of the best creative experiences of my life.’
It sounds like we will all be satisfied with how the show ends but we’re so not ready.
