Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran and Snow Patrol are all billed to perform at ITV’s Concert for Ukraine and here’s everything you need to know.
A Concert For Ukraine is set to take place on Tuesday, March 29, at Resorts World Arena Birmingham and is set to be a star studded evening filled with musical performances, all in aid of raising money to help Ukraine and those affected by the war.
The concert starts at 7:45pm with tickets being available right now – attendees will not only experience an enjoyable night of music but will also be supporting a very important cause.
Who Is Performing?
Names announced to be performing at the concert; Ed Sheeran (I know right), Camila Cabello, Gregory Porter, Snow Patrol, Emeli Sande, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Becky Hill, The Kingdom Choir, Tom Odell, and Manic Street Preachers.
I mean… what a line up.
Speaking about the Ukrainian war, Camila Cabello told ITV: ‘My heart is breaking for the people of Ukraine. As refugees from Ukraine join millions of other displaced people around the globe, we all have a responsibility.’
It’s clear that this is a cause that everyone can get behind, with high profile figures coming together to raise awareness for the need to help those affected by the war.
Can I Watch The Concert At Home?
Yes! The concert will be two hours long and will air live on ITV and STV whilst also being available to watch on-demand. Various radio stations will also be sharing backstage content from the show too.
It will certainly be a night to remember that will show that nation at its finest, coming together to support those in their hour of need.
Where Will The Money Go?
Money donated and fundraised will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal which is made up of fifteen charities that support Ukrainian refugees who have fled Ukraine leaving their whole lives behind them.
Donating is a great way of doing something to help those currently struggling as it is not always possible for everyone to allow refugees into their homes. Anything we can do to help is much appreciated and can make such a difference.
