The latest video from Molly-Mae Hague gives fans more insight into her recent trip to New York.

The 22-year-old spent New Year’s Eve in the Big Apple after her boyfriend Tommy Fury surprised her with a last-minute break.

Fans have seen a number of pictures on her Instagram account since she headed out. Now Molly-Mae has posted a 25-minute video which shows far more of their dream getaway.

‘Exactly like the films’

There are few places on earth as iconic as New York, and Molly-Mae was quick to reference some of her favourite movies set in the city.

A trip to Central Park saw the couple head to a spot made famous by the film Limitless, while Molly-Mae also mentioned Home Alone 2 and Bride Wars. Who doesn’t love Kevin McCallister running through New York and getting one over the Wet Bandits for a second time?

That wasn’t the end of the film references. The pair later headed to the Natural History Museum – a building many will be familiar with even if they have never been there. It was, after all, the setting for Night at the Museum, which Molly-Mae referred to as she wandered round.

There is something magical about New York. It is one of the few places that actually lives up to the hype and the movies get so much right in their portrayal of the city.

‘One of my favourites’

The pop culture references didn’t stop there.

After watching Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway, Molly-Mae and Tommy headed back to the world-famous theatre district for a second night. This time, The Book of Mormon was on the cards; a musical that the influencer hailed as one of her absolute faves.

It wasn’t all fun and games. The couple discovered, like many before them, that it’s not always easy to find sit-down eateries in the city.

There are some gems, if you know where to look. But, in a city that operates on triple-speed, fast food takes on a whole new meaning.

The go-to of jetlagged tourists the world over is McDonald’s. And that is what the couple ended up having more than once. That’s the thing with those golden arches. They literally are everywhere!

But they also spent some time in their hotel restaurant, taking in the one-of-a-kind New York skyline. On this occasion, Molly-Mae Hague really was living the dream in New York, New York!
