Fan Reaction To Obi-Wan Kenobi Is Everything We Hoped For

Manon Lamy May 27, 2022

Good news for the Star Wars fans out there. Iconic character Obi-Wan Kenobi is back on your TV screens! On May 27, Disney + released the first two episodes of the series. Fans have taken to Twitter to get their feelings out and their reactions are amazing.

As a bonus these are (mostly) spoiler free. But be careful of spoilers if you go on Twitter in your own time.

Here is what the official synopsis reads:

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

The best fan reactions

Even with only two episodes out at the moment, fans are really enjoying the series. So much so that this person has let the whole world know with some fancy vocabulary.

Someone was clearly excited to see Obi-Wan/Ewan McGregor back on the screen. I’m sure plenty of people share this person’s opinion. After all, it has been 17 years since McGregor stepped into the Star Wars Universe.

This person said it best. The Star Wars universe will never end. Who else is coming back to the franchise next?

Who would you pick Grogu (Baby Yoda as he is affectionally known) or baby Leia? Hard to say, hard to say.

This person is speaking the truth though: does Ewan McGregor ever age? Spoiler alert it doesn’t seem that way. He’s back for good.

This user clearly cannot wait until next week for the third episode. They’ll be waiting a long time for the rest of the series.

Fans are going a little crazy. Twitter is really someplace. Someone was excited.

Twitter seems to have come to a consensus: Obi-Wan Kenobi is amazing. If those were the reactions after two episodes, we can only imagine what the reactions after the finale will be. For now, Twitter will entertain us as we wait for the third episode next week.
