Fans Believe Shakira Is Teasing New Music Due To Cryptic Robot

Caitlin Hamill April 14, 2022

Fans are speculating that international popstar Shakira is teasing new music. This comes after an animated robot appeared in the background of the singer’s video thumbnails and Instagram highlights.

The robot can be seen in the back of YouTube video thumbnails of Shakira’s biggest hits such as Hips Don’t Lie, Whenever Wherever and even in her collaboration with The Black Eyed Peas, Girl Like Me.

The singer has also started to change some of her Instagram highlight covers to the image, as well as changing the link in her TikTok bio to the cryptic photo of a robot.

Shakira has not spoken out about the robot as of yet, but fans are desperate for answers.

Some fans are even wondering if the singer has been hacked.

The 45-year-old Colombian’s last release was a track titled Don’t Wait Up in July 2021. Fans are eagerly waiting for whatever Shakira has up her sleeve.

Some are speculating that a collaboration with reggaeton artist Rauw Alejandro may be on the cards. Alejandro and his team have made many visits to Barcelona – Shakira’s home town.

In an interview with Walt Disney World Minute Questions in January, Shakira said that her next project is her new album. Could the robots mark the start of a new era for Shakira?

Until the singer decodes the cryptic code, we will have to sit tight and wait to see what she has in store for us.

Is it new music or is it something else? Only time will tell.
