Marvel’s Werewolf By Night television special has dropped on Disney+ and fans are saying it’s the “best MCU project” yet.

The new 54-minute special only landed on the streaming site yesterday, October 7, and already people are raving about it and sayings its “one of the most brilliantly directed and creative projects” Marvel has produced.

Marvel’s Werewolf By Night follows the story of Jack Russell, a kind-natured werewolf who can keep his inner monster under control and Elsa Bloodstone.

When Elsa’s father Ulysses dies both Jack and Elsa are summoned to Bloodstone Manor, in order to take part in a competitive hunt to determine their new leader, who will wield the powerful Bloodstone.

In order to get the Bloodstone one of them must slay Man-Thing, who has been captured in an adjacent labyrinth – however, Jack has other ideas. He’s actually there to sabotage the whole thing and save Man-Thing as he’s actually Jack’s friend Ted.

Gael García Bernal stars as Jack Russell aka Werewolf by Night and Laura Donnelly as Elsa Bloodstone. Carey Jones is Man-Thing/Ted and Harriet Sansom Harris plays Verussa Bloodstone, Ulysses’s widow and Elsa’s stepmother who leads the secret group of monster hunters.

Only a day in since it dropped on Disney+ and already fans have inundated Twitter with reviews giving massive amounts of positive messages – one person even said it was the “best MCU project yet.

One fan said they want the movie’s composer Michael Giacchino to do more horror MCU projects.
