One of the biggest popstars and F1 stars are supposedly tied together after recent rumours circulated. Now, a video from Fernando Alonso’s TikTok and a quick answer to a Love Story question have the internet more curious than ever.
Fernando Alonso TikTok Video Steers Up A Commotion
You would think that Taylor Swift would be a little too preoccupied to get into a relationship at the bottom. The Anti-Hero singer recently split from actor Joe Alwyn after six years together, plus she’s embarking on her Eras Tour across the US at the moment.
Not exactly idle, Fernando Alonso is competing in the 2023 Formula 1 Grand Prix and is having a pretty great season at that.
Nonetheless, the two have been linked in the last week, and, although Taylor has kept quiet, Alonso definitely hasn’t dispelled rumours.
It all started with a TikTok video. The Formula 1 driver is sat looking at his phone, before winking into the camera. Oh, the sound is Taylor’s song Karma off her latest album.
Understandably, the comments went a little wild.
“YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING ALONSO,” one comment yelled. Others were surprised that he was in the know about the dating speculation, “FERNANDO KNOWS THINGS.”
If this wasn’t enough, he then commented on the video “Feeling 33” with a winky face. For those who aren’t experts on celebrity ages, that happens to be how old Taylor Swift is.
Whatever the situation is, Alonso is certainly driving his fans wild with his new TikTok account.
Alonso Leaves Blank Space With Taylor Swift Comment
Of course, the pair were always going to be questioned about the speculation, and it happened to Alonso first.
Answering questions before the Azerbaijan race this weekend, the 41-year-old told the interviewer: “I usually keep my personal and professional life apart. I prefer not to comment on it.”
It’s a pretty blunt answer, but it also doesn’t deny or confirm anything. We’re normally pretty dubious about dating rumours, but whatever is happenings between Taylor and Alonso has our curiosities. Plus, they already have a ship name: Taylonso.
If it is true, we certainly know who will be driving the Getaway Car. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on Alonso’s TikTok for any more videos teasing the potential relationship.
However, if the pop starlet is taking some time away from relationships then that’s pretty understandable. A six-year relationship isn’t something you just get over. That’s especially the case when you have albums such as Lover to show for it.
