Florence Pugh has posted a series of Instagram stories giving the world ‘proof’ she’s not dating Will Poulter after a report suggesting she is.
The British actor, who is currently dating former Scrubs star Zach Braff, was quick to squash rumours she’s dating her fellow Midsommer actor after a series of images of them on holiday, in Ibiza, appeared.
In Ibiza with Poulter
Yesterday, May 24, the pair were pictured having fun on the beach on the Spanish island in which the pair were together close in the water.
However, the 26-year-old claims these images were ‘cropped’ to make it seem like the two were alone together when they were actually with several friends.
In her first post, she wrote: ‘Ooookay. Man. This is getting a little silly now. No, Will Poulter and I are not dating. We went to the beach with our friends, who are always about half a metre away from us in every picture, but have been cleverly cut out/framed out so that it looks otherwise.
‘You can LITERALLY see my best friend in the corner of so many shots and Archie’s arms at the sides. I understand that the nature of this job is that you sometimes get your privacy completely bulldozed by paparazzi, but to fabricate this stuff actually does more damage than good. Thanks for saying we look sexy… doesn’t mean we’re doing the sexy.
‘Edited’ Images
The Little Women star then showed the original images before they were cropped and edited to make it look like Poulter’s ‘face was on [her] chest’ as well as sharing the images where her friend, Olive, is in the shot.
Alongside the image of her friend Olive, she wrote: ‘This is my best mate Olive, who I actually DID snuggle with for hours on this bed. What’s hilarious is my nipple kept popping out and I am actually GOBSMAKED that they [the paparazzi] didn’t catch it.
She added: ‘Probably can see the pap in the distance… hiding behind some poor family, waiting for the optimum time of ‘let’s make a fake relationship’ happen. Grosssssss.’
She then finished off by saying: There’s no need to drag people through this. Regardless of your opinion on who I should or shouldn’t be with, at the end of the day if you’re complimenting someone by trolling another person.. you’re just bullying. There’s literally no need to be horrible online – no need.’

Pugh Claps Back
This isn’t the only time the actor has clapped back at people commenting on her relationship. In the past people have commented on the 21-year age gap between her and Braff – he’s 47 and she’s 26.
Pugh explained to The Sunday Times she’s experienced ‘bullying’ because of her relationship with Braff – who she’s been dating since 2019.
She said: ‘It’s so weird to me to go on to someone’s page and sh*t on it. I think it bugs people that it’s not who they expected.
‘But it’s my life, and I’m not doing anything to please people or to make it a better headline or story. I want to also be a person.’
