Given its universal popularity – and the fact it has been on Disney+ for years now – the Tony Award winning musical about the founders of the United States should be known to everyone.
The musical follows founding father Alexander Hamilton as he raps through the early days of America and writing the constitution. Who wouldn’t love that?
The beloved musical, which opened on Broadway and has been in London for a few years now, is going on tour!

What is Hamilton?
If musicals are not your thing, and nor is history, then you might not know what or who Hamilton is, so here is everything you need to know.
Lin Manuel Miranda is well loved in the musical community. He composed Hamilton and described it as ‘American then, told by America today.’ If that doesn’t make you want to run to see it, I don’t know what will. Hamilton follows the story of Alexander Hamilton. He was the first Secretary of the Treasury, under George Washington’s government.
The man on which the story is based, was well read, and was an artillery officer where he served as an aide for Washington. Without this man, America would likely not be what it is today.
The musical tells his legacy, ‘who lives who dies who tells your story’, rapped and sung through. It opened Off Broadway in 2015 and became an instant smash hit. And now it’s going on a UK Tour for everyone to enjoy it over and over again.
How long is the Hamilton UK tour?
Do not throw away your shot at seeing Hamilton. Because on April 18, the show announced multiple tour dates through the UK. The tour will start at the end of 2023 and tour until 2025.
Indeed, they announced 12 tour locations throughout the UK so there is likely to be something for everyone.
