Harry Styles To Read A Bedtime Story On CBeebies

Going from Coachella to CBeebies, former One Direction star Harry Styles has been announced as the latest A-lister to get his pyjamas on to read a children’s book for the CBeebies series ‘Bedtime Stories’.

Harry’s episode airs Monday, May 23 at 6:50pm. The singer will read the book ‘In Every House on Every Street’ by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine.

In case you were wondering what the book was about, the blurb reads: ‘In every house, on every street… there is laughter and tears. There are friends. There is family. And there is love’.

The singer will introduce his episode by saying: ‘Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter’. This idea pays homage to his album ‘Harry’s House’, releasing three days before on May 20.

‘Bedtime Stories’ episodes are as popular among adults as they are children, as people tune in to see their favourite stars on screen.

Harry is joining an impressive line up of celebrities that have appeared on the show. These include: Tom Hardy, Orlando Bloom, James McAvoy, Ed Sheeran, Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds.

After the announcement, fans took to Twitter to share their excitement with some hilarious Tweets.

Styles has a busy schedule, as his new album ‘Harry’s House’ Is out May 20. The singer is also playing ‘One Night Only’ at Brixton Academy on May 24, which sold out instantly. Tickets are being resold on ticket sites such as Viagogo for around £400, with some prices reaching £1500.

The ‘Bedtime Stories’ episode will be available to stream on demand on BBC iPlayer for any fans who miss it, or if you simply want to rewatch it to your hearts desire.
