While Harry Styles fans all over the world can barely contain their excitement over the announcement of more Love On Tour dates, UK fans are pretty unimpressed with the deal they have been handed.
Why are some fans upset?
Before the pandemic, thousands of fans bought tickets to see Styles perform, but the shows were postponed for two years, with fans not being refunded until now.
Styles has since cancelled all the original tour venues and shows. This means that fans will finally be refunded. But they will now have to re-buy tickets to see the tour (however, previous ticket holders do have access to presale).
The worst part about it? Tickets are even more expensive than before, and there are only three UK tour dates.
One fan wrote: “No way did Harry styles cancel an entire uk arena tour to announce a new 3 date stadium tour where people will have to rebuy more expensive tickets..the uk has been rinsed.”
Meanwhile, another said: “This is actually a joke, where is sheffield? and birmingham?? I’ve not held onto these tickets for 3 years for it to be postponed for ages and then no date for my UK concerts.”
Styles was originally set to perform in Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, and two London dates, but he has since cut the Birmingham and Sheffield dates, as well as one of the London ones.
