TikTok can make anything go viral in seconds and the 99p water bottle was no exception to the rule. Yet some people really can’t work out how to assemble it. Don’t worry, we’ve got you.

What is it exactly?
The bottle is pretty much what it says on the tin: a two litre pink and blue ombre water bottle – that you can get it in purple ombre and orange and blue ombre too – available to buy via the TikTok shop.
On the side, along with times of the day to remind you when to rehydrate, the bottle has lovely words and phrases of affirmation like ‘beautiful’, ‘keep going’ and ‘don’t give up’. Things we all need to hear sometimes to help us through the day.
The two litre bottle comes with a straw, push-lid, and a bottle cleaner.
People have said they’re ‘shocked’ with not only how big the bottle is, but with the high quality too.
What’s the issue?
People have really fallen in love with this 99p water bottle, which you might’ve seen on your TikTok fyp. However, once they arrived, some people have really struggled to assemble the straw.
When the bottle arrives, the straw is in three pieces inside the bottle, and there doesn’t appear to be any clear instructions on how it’s supposed to fit together.
How to assemble it
Fear not, there are now dozens of TikTok videos explaining just exactly how to do it – and we’ve followed the steps to help you along the way.
Here’s what to do:
1. Lay out the three straw pieces in front of you
2. The straight cylinder piece fits on to the bottom of the straw with the straw going in via the larger end.
3. The other more cone-shaped part is the top of the straw and goes on the other end.
4. Pop the straw inside the bottle, open the lid and make sure the straw goes through the hole.
5. Screw the lid shut and you’re good to go.
