How To Celebrate Halloween For More Than One Evening

Cicely McFarlane October 16, 2022

Halloween is a really exciting and fun time to plan your outfit, especially if you love a night out.

Making this holiday last for more than one evening should be a tradition that you can adopt at university and with your friends and family.

This can be achieved in many ways, yet below are some of my favourite things to do to fully experience the Halloween season as much as possible.

Halloween Movie Nights

There is a huge selection of scary films, and specifically Halloween movies, that you can watch leading up to the end of October.

Having a scary movie marathon with your friends can be a really fun pastime.

As someone who had always hated scary films, in university my house sat down to watch a few of them, and it made for a truly funny yet terrifying night. However, it has made me now start to really enjoy spooky films.

There are also the annual Halloween movies that you can see at the cinema. This includes a new offering called Smile, as well as the final chapter of the Halloween movies with the notorious character Michael Myers. This film is called Halloween Ends.

These are some great evening activities that you and your friends can do together to really get in the spirit of the Halloween season.

Halloween Decorating

Decorating your house for more than just one evening on 31 October can be a great way to fully engulf yourself in the Halloween spirit.

On sites such as Amazon, there are some extremely cheap Halloween party packs with all the things your house might need to look the part.

Additionally shops such as Poundland, Primark, and B&M have great Halloween edition decoration sales.

So make sure you get yourself to these shops to ensure that your house is decked out to the max through the whole of October.

Halloween Baking

If you are someone who loves baking, then creating and decorating some Halloween cookies can be a great bonding experience for you and your house.

Not only is this a fun way to get to know each other; it is also a great way to have some tasty treats at the end of an evening. So you can sit down and watch a scary film with your delicious creations.
