The Good Doctor, starring Freddie Highmore, is now on its fifth series. However, an episode from series two is doing the rounds on the internet. Involving two characters. Highmore’s Dr Shaun Murphy and his superior, Dr Han, unfortunately, didn’t have the impact we expect it wanted.
What Is The Dr Han Meme From The Good Doctor?
The meme is from an episode called Breakdown in series two, where Dr Han prohibits the main character, Dr Murphy from performing a delicate surgery.
The series is all about a surgeon who has autism and the battles, stigma and issues he faces in the fictional hospital of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Though it aired back in 2019, the Dr Han meme started doing the rounds on TikTok in late 2021. Now, in May 2023, it’s happening all over again.
The scene involves the two characters in Dr Han’s office. In response to being told he can’t be part of the surgery, Dr Murphy repeatedly says ” I am a surgeon,” getting more and more emotional each time. Whilst this is, unintendedly, already funny, the stern and dead-faced reaction of Dr Han doesn’t make the situation any better.
