Jenna Coleman has teased her return to the hit Netflix show, The Sandman, for season 2 in an Instagram post.
According to Deadline, Netflix renewed The Sandman for a second season after the first dropped in August and soared in popularity among viewers.

Netflix’s latest fantasy series, The Sandman, dropped on Netflix on August 5, and follows the story of Morpheus, the king of dreams aka Dream and one of the seven Endless, and is based on the 1990s graphic novel, of the same name, by Neil Gaiman.
In a, now deleted, tweet by DC Comics heavily implying the show would returning with more episodes for season 2. The tweet said: ‘The Dream continues. Netflix Sandman will return with new episodes based on multiple volumes of the Neil Gaiman graphic novels to explore even more stories of the Endless.’
Then, as this hastily deleted, Netflix did quickly confirm the shows renewal via social media, which included a quote from the show’s original creator Gaiman.
He said: ‘There are some astonishing stories waiting for Morpheus and the rest of them…Now it’s time to get back to work. There’s a family meal ahead, after all. And Lucifer is waiting for Morpheus to return to Hell.’
Show runner Allan Heinberg also told Netflix: ‘I’m profoundly grateful to Netflix and to Warner Bros. — to the artists and crew who made our first 11 episodes so magical — and to the extraordinary fans of The Sandman, who advocated tirelessly — endlessly — on the show’s behalf and made it possible for us to continue telling Morpheus’ story.’
Jenna Coleman Teases The Sandman season 2 return
Along with the confirmation The Sandman has been renewed, Jenna Coleman teased her Instagram followers she would also be returning to the screen.
Coleman posted a photo of her, as the role of Johanna Constantine, alongside Tom Sturridge who plays the main character, Dream.
Her post has received over 50,000 likes, hundreds of comments and many fans asking her if she’ll have more scenes in season 2.
One fan wrote: ‘PLEASE TELL ME WE’RE SEEING MORE OF JOHANNA???’
While another said: ‘More Johanna Constantine 😍’
And a third fan commented: ‘Looking forward to seeing more Johanna sass!! 😊’
