Johnny Depp performed on stage with Jeff Beck while he awaits the verdict for his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
The 58-year-old actor performed on stage at the Royal Albert Hall last night, making it his second night performing in the UK.
Depp Performs in the UK
First, he made a guest appearance with Beck at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday, May 29, where he and Beck covered the ohn Lennon song ‘Isolation’. This is a song they previously released together in 2020 during the pandemic, according to the Guardian.
However, fans of the Pirates of the Caribean star were treated to an appearance from Depp when he joined Beck on stage at the Royal Albert Hall, in London.
One even-goer posted a video of Beck the moment he announces Depp and invited him on stage, with the comment: ‘So this just happened…Jeff Beck.’
In the video, Beck can be heard saying: ‘He came knocking on my dressing room door about five years ago and we haven’t stopped laughing since. We kept it quiet for obvious reasons, but here he is.’
Depp Awaits The Verdict
Depp’s appearance in the UK has come as a shock to many as the Edward Scissorhands actor is currently awaiting the verdict from the ongoing defamation case against his ex-wife, Heard, in the US.
The actor is suing his the Aquaman actor over the 2018 article she wrote in the Washington Post, which was titled: ‘I spoke up against sexual violence – and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change.’

Although the op-ed doesn’t actually mention Depp by name, he and his lawyers are arguing the piece implies he physically and sexually abused the 36-year-old.
Ultimately, Depp sued Heard for defamation due to the piece for $50 million, and Heard then counter-sued for $100 million.
The trial, which started on April 11, has now come to a close as both parties gave their closing statements last week and the verdict is estimated to arrive this week.
