Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are about to become parents again, as they are expecting their second child via surrogate.
TMZ broke the news on Wednesday evening, the news outlet reports that the birth is ‘imminent, within days’.
A representative of the 38-year-old reality star confirmed the news to PEOPLE, saying: ‘We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing’.
Tristan and Khloe already share a four-year-old daughter named True, who was born in April 2018. The couple have had an on-again off-again relationship.
The couple split earlier this year after the Chicago Bulls player was found to have had a child with another woman in December 2021. Tristan currently has three children with different mothers.
A source told PEOPLE: ‘Khloe and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters’.
Conceived before their split
The couple’s second child was conceived before their split in January, as the source told PEOPLE: ‘The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December’.
Khloe has persistently been open about her fertility issues on their reality show. The 38-year-old documented her IVF sessions where none of the eggs froze. The reality star also spoke about how her pregnancy would be high risk if she chose to carry her second child herself. Kardashian has been vocal about wanting a sibling close in age to her daughter.
Tristan was spotted at Wireless festival this past weekend, watching his friend Giveon perform. Fans in the crowd however, had other ideas. TikTok’s started to circulate of the crowd chanting ‘cheater!’ at the NBA player. One fan even shared a video of the crowd booing, with the caption ‘Khloe, all the girlies had your back’.
