Loved-up pictures on Love Island’s Gemma and Luca’s Instagram stories show the pair are still together after fans think they split after the final.
Gemma Owen and Luca Bish made it to the final of the popular reality dating show but only came runner-up when Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimeni took the crown of Love Island 2022.
Did Love Island’s Gemma and Luca split?
The Daily Mail reports all the couples are now back in the UK, but fans theorised Gemma and Luca’s relationship hit the rocks after the final when the management controlling her Instagram account during her time in the Villa failed to mention Luca in a ‘handing back’ post.
One pointed out: ‘Gemma’s handlers put a picture up of just her, with the #TeamGemma… I’m telling you all from now, all Luca is leaving with is an advertising deal with birds eye fish.’
Another said: ‘You already know Luca and Gemma split up the second cameras stopped rolling.’
While a third added: ‘Like Gemma and Luca haven’t already split up with Gemma filing for a restraining order already? oh please!! Ekinde will last longer than Owen and Bish!’
Love Island’s Gemma and Luca Still Together
However, this all seems like farfetched speculation as the couple posted loved-up pictures of each other on their stories early today, August 3.
Gemma posted on her Instagram story at 7am a picture of her and Luca cuddling up with the caption ‘home time’. While Luca posted a picture on his story of Gemma at the airport on his that Gemma also shared.
The couple also seemed pretty happy when they arrived back in the UK and walked out of the airport hand-in-hand and Luca was there as Gemma had an emotional reunion with her mother and siblings, The Daily Mail reports.
Gemma and Luca also treated fans to a cute cheeky PDA when they shared a kiss in front of the airport as they arrived with their fellow Islanders.
