Former Love Island contestants Paige Thorne and Danica Taylor seem to be in the midst of a feud after explosive comments were made.

Paige has recently responded to comments made by Danica after she called the former paramedic ‘rude’ and not ‘very nice’ to her while they were on the ITV show.

Love Island Paige Danica feud

In an interview with OK! Danica revealed she’d watched back series 8 of Love Island and “felt quite sad” due to Paige’s behaviour towards her.

The 21-year-old dancer entered the villa as a bombshell and chose to couple up with Luca Bish, due to her initial attraction to him, despite him being coupled up with Gemma Owens. Ultimately, it didn’t work out and Gemma and Luca decoupled later on.

Then later on it came down to the boys having to choose between Antigoni Buxton and Danica to stay on the show. The boys picked Danica and Paige didn’t appear too happy about it.

Danica said when she watched that bit back and felt sad watching it due to Paige’s reaction. She said: ‘Not gonna lie now I’ve watched it back, I’ve seen how Paige was when Antigoni left and it was very clear she wanted me to go.

‘I wish I’d said hang on do you know how that makes me feel, I’ve done nothing wrong. And you’re blatantly mouthing things across the firepit to insinuate like “what the hell why is Danica here” but again I’ve had time to move past that.’

Danica went on to say she didn’t feel a lot of the other girls ‘warmed’ to her but she ‘just got on with the experience’.

‘I felt quite sad watching – I let a lot of things slide. The girls didn’t really warm to me, I felt that it in there but I just got on with the experience,’ she continued. ‘Watching it back, I’m not angered but I wish I’d just said, you’re not going to be rude to me.’

Love Island Paige Hits Back

The pair’s feud seems to have continued as paramedic Paige hit back at Danica’s comments accusing her of talking ‘sh*t about someone else to keep yourself relevant’.

While talking on former Islander Toby Aromolaran’s podcast and YouTube channel Fancy a Chat? the 24-year-old was asked about the comments made against her and she said: ‘People have got to do what they’ve got to do. If you’ve got to talk shit about someone else to keep yourself relevant, that’s fine.

‘It’s not my vibe. Why can’t you focus on yourself and all the positive things, rather than talk shit about anyone else? I’m not about that vibe.’

She added: ‘I like to say I’m in my little positive bubble and I stay firmly inside it. People just want to try to pop it sometimes but it’s impenetrable, so no.’

Along with this Paige spoke about how Adam Collard – who entered the villa as a Bombshell and coupled up with Paige – has been supporting her since the end of the show.

She said: ‘It is really overwhelming, but Adam’s been absolutely great because he’s done it before, so he’s been taking it under my wing and helping me out. It’s been good.

‘I’m glad I’ve got him to help me out because otherwise I’d be a headless chicken. I’ve really enjoyed everything so far.’
