Made in Chelsea Ups The Heat In Mallorca

The newest season of Made in Chelsea premiered on Monday 21 August, with this season place taking place in sunny Mallorca.

The first episode already had many major events from where the previous season left off. Such as the engagement of turbulent couple James and Maeva, who are also soon to be parents.

This couple were in the spotlight last season due to the surprise proposal from Maeva, who was then rejected by James.

This couple truly seems happy and have now started the family that they talked so much about.

Another surprise included the reunion of Olivia and Tristan. This couple has seen its fair share of fights and tears, and many – myself included – thought that the curtain had been drawn on their relationship. Yet in Mallorca, apparently not.

What to Expect in this Season?

The main direction that this series is taking once again seems to focus on long-term couple Rez and Ruby; as further infidelity has led them to have more trust issues and to continue the never-ending debate if they belong together or not.

Additionally, life coach and songbird Julius seems to be a dominant character of this series storyline so far.

This is due to the surprise arrival of secret ‘girlfriend’. It seems he may be leading on someone who has feelings for him, but then consistently states how open he is with her that he does not want anything more.

Does the blame then shift on to India? Twitter was debating this question of blame and quickly decided that both parties are partly in the wrong.

Who is the Love Match for this Season?

Long term best friends Miles and Emily seem to be the ‘shipped’ couple for this series.

However, unlike previous series, due to an episode airing on channel 4 every night instead of weekly, SPOILER ALERT Tuesday’s episode has already been witness to Emily shutting down Miles in a romantic sense.

That may be Miles’ first rejection in a long time. However, fans are undecided whether that truly is the end of the ‘will they, won’t they’ saga.

Make sure to head over to Channel 4 every night at 9pm, or catch up online now!
