Daniel Hillard is back and better than ever as Mrs Doubtfire the musical now has dates confirmed for Manchester in September.
Some 26 years after the success of the film Mrs Doubtfire, like with most things, a musical was created and now it’s heading to the North West of England.

This musical comedy, based on the 90’s Robin Williams movie, was created in 2019 by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick.
If you haven’t seen this classic, the synopsis given by ATG is: ‘Out-of-work actor Daniel will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives.
‘As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.’
Mrs Doubtfire Musical Manchester Dates and Tickets
After closing in May 2022, Mrs Doubtfire will be opening back up at the Opera House in Manchester.

Mrs Doubtfire Musical Cast
Marcus Collins may be the most well-known name in this show outside of the musical theatre sphere. He appeared on the 2011 series of The X Factor, coming in as runner-up to Little Mix. He is set to play Andre in the upcoming show.
Gabriel Vick is set to play the leading woman herself, Mrs Doutfire. Vick is well-versed in the world of musical theatre and even starred in the 2012 film Les Miserables.
Laura Tebbutt will play Miranda Hillard, Daniel’s wife and has most recently played the role of Rosalie Mullins in School of Rock in London.
Other cast members include:
Carla Dixon-Hernandez, Cameron Blakely, Dominic Anderson, Vanessa Fisher, Ian Talbot and Aiesha Naomi Pease.
Behind the scenes
This musical has been directed by Jerry Zaks who has no less than four Tony awards for shows such as Six Degrees of Seperation and Guys and Dolls.
Scene designs are by David Korins who worked on Hamilton.
Lorin Latarro, who has worked on the hit show Waitress is the lead choreographer.
