Must-Try Secret Starbucks Drinks

Add as preferred source on Google

The Starbucks ‘Secret Menu’ has been spoken about across social media for years. On Instagram and TikTok you will find all sorts of secret drinks, from the ‘Unicorn Frappucino’ to the ‘Material Girl’. The question is, can you actually get these drinks at Starbucks? Here is everything I have learnt about the secret menu since becoming a Starbucks barista.

Is the Secret Menu Real?

Technically, the secret menu does not exist. If you headed into a Starbucks and asked for an ‘Under the Sea’ drink, you would most likely get a few confused looks. However, if you know the exact ingredients for these drinks and how to order it, you will be able to try the ‘secret’ drinks you find across social media.

So what should you order? Here are a few of the best drinks that you won’t find on the menu board.

Kinder Bueno Coffee

An old favourite of the supposed ‘secret menu’, and probably the most common secret drink that baristas are asked for. Kinder lovers can get their caffeinated Bueno fix hot or cold in a range of drinks.

What to order: for a hot drink: “White mocha with hazelnut syrup” or for a cold drink: “White mocha Frappucino with hazelnut syrup.”

For an even closer match to the real Kinder Bueno, order your drink with Starbucks’ Nut Blend milk.

Material Girl

A TikTok viral drink that is popular with influencers, but your barista might not know. It is James Charles’ famous ‘Pink Drink’, mixed with white chocolate for an extra sweet flavour.

What to order: “A pink coconut refresher with white mocha sauce”

Mint Choc Chip Frappuccino

Looking for a cool Starbucks drink for a hot day? This secret menu drink may as well be an ice cream. The Mint Choc Chip Frappucino is a two in one drink and desert and is so good.

What to order: “Double chocolatey chip Frappuccino with peppermint syrup”. Want it caffeinated? Ask for “Java chip Frappuccino with peppermint syrup”

Stranger Things Frappuccino

The Stranger Things Frappuccino isn’t actually a secret menu drink, but a limited edition beverage that launched in Argentina earlier this year. You can create a very similar drink in the UK, it won’t look identical but will taste the exact same.

What to order: “Strawberries and cream Frappuccino with mocha sauce and extra strawberry drizzle.”
