If you’re nervously awaiting your GCSE or A-level results this summer, Nando’s are helping to soften to worry and help you celebrate your day by bringing back their results day promotion once again.
For students collecting their A-level, GCSE, Juniors or Leaving certificates, Highers or National 5’s results, you can get yourself a free 1/4 chicken or starter.
Nando’s Free Chicken Results Day Deal
To get your free chicken or starter, you need to eat in or visit Walk-In Collect and spend over £7. Remember to bring in your ID and results with you (via email or print-out).
The promotion is available on the following days:
- UK A-level: Between 11am and 11pm on 18 August.
- UK GCSE: Between 11am and 11pm on 25 August.
- Scottish National 5’s: Between 11am and 11pm on 9 August.
- Scottish Highers: Between 11am and 11pm on 9 August.
Eligible customers are only entitled to redeem the promotion once during the promotional period, and Nando’s reserves the right to verify your eligibility.
Furthermore, the offer is only valid for Eat-In or Walk-In Collect only, which means you cannot access this deal through delivery, click and collect, or collect orders by phone.
Students react to Nando’s results day news
Nando’s have been offering a special results day deal for students for years now, and every summer hundreds of people set to collect their results take to Twitter to discuss the free chicken they are hoping to get their hands on.
Some were thinking about the chicken as a sort of consolation prize for not securing the results they had hoped for.
One student said: ‘As if nandos are doing free meals on results day. At least I can cry into my chicken x’
Another tweeted: ‘yk what guys, i really don’t know whether i’d rather just pay for my nandos on results day rather than show them my results slip tbf ngl #gcse2019#gcseresultsday‘
‘Free nandos on results day? At least i got something good out of failing my a levels,’ another student posted.
Meanwhile, others were over the moon to be able to celebrate their grades with some free food…
An excited student tweeted: ‘Free chicken at nandos makes results day better.’
One slightly more unsure Twitter user wrote: ‘Nandos on results day has the potential to either be the most or least cheeky thing ever.’
Whether you’re looking forward to results day or not, I’m sure we can all agree that some Nando’s chicken is definitely going to ensure the day ends on a high note.
