Fans of the murder mystery series Only Murders In The Building will be ecstatic to hear that the Hulu/Disney+ show has been renewed for a season three.
The series, which is currently in its ongoing second season, made the announcement on Twitter on Monday evening.
The tweet, which was written by one of the trio’s neighbours at the Arconia *wink*, said: ‘#OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding will return for Season 3! Now I just have to worry about who’s next… I hope it’s not me!’
Attached to the tweet is a clever video which is an ode to the podcast in the show, which fans of OMITB will be sure to love.
‘Guess what…all of your favourite characters are going to be returning for season three!’ Mabel says in the announcement.
‘Oh that’s so exciting! So you two knew that? No one’s told me…’ Oliver replies, in his usual hilarious tone known to viewers of the show.

The programme, which stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, has scored an incredible 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, with high critical praise. The series follows three true crime podcast fanatics who get caught up in a murder mystery themselves, and end up creating their own podcast as they go.
Only Murders In The Building was created by show star Steve Martin and John Hoffman. The show’s executive producers are Martin, Hoffman, Gomez, Short, Dan Fogelman, Jamie Babbitt and Jess Rosenthal.
Story lends itself
Speaking to Metro about season three, executive producer Hoffman said: ‘The story lends itself at the end of our season two, so hang tight at the end of season two. So we do aim towards a new something or other leading us to season three’.
New episodes of Only Murders In The Building air every Tuesday on Disney+.
