People are sharing their favourite bad superhero movies after Jared Leto’s Moribus continues to bomb in reviews.
Morbius, arrived in theatres last week which means reviews flooded in however, they were all terrible and it seems no one was loving the latest Marvel film from Sony Pictures studios.
Best of A Bad Bunch
From This Heroic Hollywood took to Twitter to ask everyone what their favourite ‘bad’ superhero movie is – while showing six film covers in the picture; Green Lantern, Suicide Squad, Fantastic 4, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Batman & Robin – the account also included the new movie, Morbius, in the mix.
This has prompted many different reactions from people on Twitter and may not only shared which of the films they don’t like but also which of them they actually really loved and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as it turns out, was pretty loved by fans on Twitter and one person even said it was ‘wrong’ to be on the list.
Some people showed their love to George Clooney’s Batman & Robin, calling in ‘terrible’ by ‘fun to watch’ – if anyone needs a recap the 1997 movie featured Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, Chris O’Donnell as Robin and even Arnold Schwarzenegger as a fully painted Mr Freeze.
Not on the list
And some people didn’t think some of the movies belonged on a ‘bad movie’ list and suggested a few recommendations of their own including Aquaman, Thor Ragnarok, and Ghost Rider 2.
According to IMDB the ‘worst’ superhero movie wasn’t even on this list; the 2004 movie Catwoman rated 3.4 on the site, followed closely by Batman & Robin with 3.7. And, Morbius did score the fifth worst with 5.2.
However, when it came to ratings on Rotten Tomatoes the 2015 Fantastic 4 movie scored the worst off the list with just nine percent, followed closely by Batman & Robin with 12 percent and Morbius with 16 percent.
