Fanta is a brand of fruit flavours in a carbonated soft drink which is created by the brand Coca-Cola.
There are around 200 Fanta flavours worldwide and, somehow, I have managed to try seven different flavours to date.
I have noticed that my go-to flavour of Fanta isn’t one that you can buy in UK shops.
Read on to discover the top five flavours I have experienced so far.
5. Fanta Orange – UK
Like all the others, it is made with real fruit juice and caffeine free. A great refreshing flavour. My main downfall with the UK flavour of Fanta Orange is how it doesn’t have the full orange taste and the colour is more yellow rather than orange.
4. Fanta Raspberry – UK
A new flavour I discovered in the last year in shops and something I would pick in a meal deal for sure, if they have it. It’s refreshing and flavorsome, especially when chilled.
3. Fanta Fruit Twist – UK
The fruit twist has always been my go-to fizzy drink. The fruit is full of refreshing tastes and something you should always have with a glass and ice.
2. Fanta Grape – South Africa
During my trip to South Africa earlier this year, I discovered the purple fizz that is Fanta grape. You can buy the grape flavour in UK shops. Despite this, I found the South African version tasted slightly better and you can get it from your nearest South African shop. It uses natural grape juices and explodes your taste buds.
1. Fanta Orange – South Africa
My current go-to fanta drink is orange. However, I have grown to love the South African one. This version has way more flavour and actually tastes of orange. As well as this, it has the orange colour to the drink, giving the consumer the sense that they are drinking an orange drink. Head to a South African store, such as London Victoria, and try it for yourself.
Recognition
When I went to France, many moons ago, I was able to try Fanta Lemon and Strawberry. For me the Strawberry tasted wonderful and something I personally would recommend. However, the lemon flavour was just not for me.
