Barcelona-born singer Rosalía announced her MOTOMAMI world tour on Monday night (18 April.) The tour is in support of her album, which was released one month ago and shares the same title.

The singer took to Twitter to announce the 46-date world tour, which will cover 15 countries across the world. The tour also features 12 shows in Rosalía’s home country Spain.

The flamenco singer will kick off the tour in July with the Spanish leg, before heading to South America and North America, then returning to Europe to play nine more shows. The tour will conclude in Paris on 18 December.

The tour will stop at some of the biggest cities in the world, including Madrid, Mexico City, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami, Lisbon, Milan, Berlin, London and Paris.

This is the Spaniard’s largest tour to date. The singer will play arenas such as the Palau Sant Jordi, the Wizink Centre and the AccorHotels Arena. Rosalía’s last tour played much smaller venues.

Rosalía will be playing one date in the UK at The O2 Arena in London on Thursday, 15 December. The singer has previously played Brixton Academy and Somerset House in London.

MOTOMAMI was released 18 March as a follow up to Rosalía’s 2018 album El Mal Querer. The album boasted tracks such as the heart shattering bachata track ‘La Fama’ featuring The Weeknd, the beautiful flamenco track ‘Bulerías’ and the fun ‘Chicken Teriyaki.’

Tickets for Rosalía’s MOTOMAMI world tour go on sale Friday, 22 April at 10am.
