Series three of the Soho Theatre Live definitley does not disappoint. The comedians lined up are:

Previous series of Soho Theatre Live have included smash hits such as Nina Conti, Dane Baptiste, Jen Brister, Joel Dommett, Catherine Bohart, Jordan Brookes, Sindhu Vee and so many others.

This third series currently has a five star rating on Amazon Prime.

One reviewer writes, ‘[Luisa’s performance was] one of the most powerful, funny and deeply moving stand-up sets that I’ve ever seen… fierce, visceral and savagely funny. I’m telling everyone I know to watch it and thank me later.’

Another said, ‘Absolutely loved the first two seasons and was so excited when I heard about the third. As always, brilliant job, excellent choice in comedians…I could watch it again!’

Soho Theatre History

The Soho Theatre is a charity that dates back to the 1970s when it was called Soho Poly. The company ‘was radical and relevant, capturing the excitement and innovation of its time’. That company closed in 1990 and subsequently reopened as the Soho Theatre we now know and love in 2000.

Whilst this London theatre is fiercely loved, it only holds a capacity of 140 people. Meaning that all shows are very intimate, as seen on Soho Theatre Live, available on Amazon Prime. SoHo Theatre have said that they are trying to expand their theatre by creating a 1,000 seat venue, which should open sometime in 2022.

According to Soho Theatre themselves, they ‘pursue creative excellence, harnessing the artistic spirit based in our new writing roots, inclusivity and being welcome to all’. So, we can only hope for more of the same amazing shows to come our way.
