Steve Bray and Hugh Grant joined forces to interrupt parliament interviews yesterday and played the Benny Hill theme.
Bray is well known for protesting against the current government, and he’s certainly not quiet about it. At the request of Hugh Grant yesterday, Bray blasted the Benny Hill Theme tune on speakers situated just outside parliament, all while Boris Johnson had announced he would resign as UK Prime Minister.

The videos have done the rounds on twitter, with Bray himself sharing new videos protesting the current government. On Tuesday the ‘Stop Brexit Man’ had his speakers confiscated by the police, but came back with a vengeance for Boris’s resignation, with the speakers loud enough to interrupt political interviews.
But Bray’s mockery of the government doesn’t end with Benny Hill. The activist inspired by Bay City Roller’s ‘Bye Bye Baby’, has made a parody, aptly named, ‘Bye Bye Boris’.
The catchy tune interrupted Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain. The two were unsuspecting of Bray’s antics wondering if there was a nearby Karoake event taking place.

Bray also spoke to Lord Moylan accusing him of ‘fighting democracy’ . Who humoured him before abruptly turning away and walking into a lamppost. To credit Bray, he did warn the Tory MP to ‘Watch your head’.
It’s clear Boris’s resignation has sparked some interesting reactions. Bray’s loud protests are being suggested as a ‘nuisance’ by some. But others are praising Bray for his stance against the current government. What’s next for the country is uncertain, but I’m sure we’ll soon hear about it from Bray.
