I don’t know about you but I always like to get a fresh set of acrylic nails done at the salon before I go on my summer holiday.
Choosing a new design for my nails can take hours (I’m so indecisive); there are just so many colours and patterns to choose from.
One thing is for certain though, summer nails should be bright and bold to really give off positive vibes. Here are my favourite summer nail looks to give you all of that inspo to get your own done.
Orange, pink and red. This colour combo just screams summer and is nothing but bright and colourful. Having a unique pattern also makes this design super striking and will have you feeling on to of the world. I mean, how cute do these nails look, right?
How elegant do these nails look? Having a set of plain nails with one being the ‘main attraction’ is a great way to sport a gorgeous nail design without it being too ‘in your face.’ This look would look great with any outfit, with the delicate flower feature being an extra special added touch.

Painting just the tips of your nails is a great way of adding a splash of colour to your tips without being over the top. Not everyone likes really patterned nails so if you are, perhaps, a nail newbie and want to sway towards a natural look then this may just be the one for you.
Neon! I’ll be taking this look straight to the rave. I’m just loving this colour combo which guarantees to stand out in the crowd. Everyone is going to notice you with this set of nails which is never a bad thing! I’m especially loving that gorgeous neon shade of hot pink. Wow!
When you can’t choose a colour, pick ten! Rainbow nails look really stunning, especially being a great theme for Pride month. Having a gradual gradient of colours starting from dark to light is also a great way of creating an elegant yet powerful, multi-coloured look that doesn’t clash.

Daisies are THE symbol of summer. When I look at these nails, I instantly remember sitting on a field of grass making daisy chains as a kid. I’m obsessed with this look with it encapsulating all of the beauty of summer on every single nail.
