6. Lake Bumbunga
You may or may not have heard of the strawberry milk coloured Pink Lakes in Australia but if you can go check one of them out then you should! 7. Rottnest Island
And don’t forget the famous Rottnest Island where you’ll meet the quokkas just off the coast of Western Australia. These friendly little fur animals will be excited to greet you so get your camera ready!
8. Kangaroo Island
And just off the coast of South Australia you’ll find Kangaroo Island. Full of wildlife and truly showing nature at it’s finest. Keep an eye out for koalas, kangaroos, sea lions and seals! And be sure to walk among the Australian sea lion colony at Seal Bay if you get the chance too!
9. Sydney Opera House
You haven’t been to Australia if you haven’t seen Sydney Opera House, right? Known as one of the worlds most famous and distinctive buildings, the Sydney Opera House is a performing arts centre located on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour. It’s a big tick off the bucket list and a beautiful spot to see!
10. Byron Bay
And while this is probably already on your list, don’t miss it! Byron Bay is a coastal town located on the far-north coast of New South Wales, Australia. A place for you to enjoy the surf, beaches, festivals and community.
