The Best Theatre Deals For Students

Tamzin Meyer March 8, 2022

Are you a musical theatre fanatic like me? Do you love a dramatic play that has you on the edge of your seat? Well, you’re in luck as I’ve picked some of the best theatre deals every student needs to know about.

Now put on those dancing shoes and get ready to sing along to your favourite tunes, because here are some of the best theatre deals you absolutely need get on right now:

Theatre and Dinner For Two – Virgin Experience Days

A West-End show, plus a dinner… FOR TWO… all for £99! This is a deal that you would be foolish not to get. Tickets to the theatre in London alone are usually more than this… and that’s just for one person.

With this deal from Virgin Experience Days you can choose from a selection of West End shows and dine at a restaurant close to your chosen theatre. Opportunities like this only come round once in a while.

2-For-1 Local Theatre Tickets – ATG

If you don’t fancy going all of the way to London then you’re local theatres also have some amazing offers running through March. As part of the National Lottery funded campaign, ATG are giving you the opportunity to buy two theatre tickets for the price of one.

These are only for selected shows depending on where you are based but I highly encourage you to see what’s available. Local theatres really need our help right now and this is a great way to show them some love whilst benefitting at the same time.

LOVEtheatre Offers

LOVEtheatre has some great offers going on at the moment. You can get up to 43 per cent off Come From Away tickets and save money on your Jersey Boys tickets.

These are London based but these shows are worth travelling for. West End theatre quality is unbeatable and is definitely something everyone should experience.

Check Your Local Theatre

It’s also worth checking your local theatre’s website for any offers they have going on. You can sometimes get great discounts on the day of shows if there are seats left so if you are feeling a bit bored and fancy a trip out then this is a fantastic option. This means that you don’t have to spend too much money on travel too.

Lynn Nottage once said: “The more you go to a theatre and the more you hear stories you aren’t necessarily familiar with, the more open you become,” so what are you waiting for?
