Netflix drama, Heartstopper, has been applauded by many viewers for its representation of LGBTQ+ relationships. Nick and Charlie have captured the hearts of many, with many of us only dreaming that a show like this existed when we were teens. We have rounded up some of the best Heartstopper tweets.
Adapted by Alice Oseman from her New York Times’ bestselling graphic novels, Heartstopper has garnered a huge fanbase over the years. It is now finding a whole new audience, which we can all be grateful for.
Oseman hit the headlines when her debut novel, Solitaire, was published while she was at university. She has followed that up with three more young adult novels – Radio Silence, I Was Born For This and Loveless. The latter won the latest YA Book Prize. All this while she continues to write regular Heartstopper content.

There are currently four volumes of the Heartstopper comics so there is plenty of story still to come. We can only hope that Netflix does the right thing and renews the series for a second season.
Given how well the initial run of episodes has been received, there is clearly a huge audience for this wonderful and important story.
