The show follows four university roommates as they arrive at the prestigious Essex College in New England. Like many university students, the girls have to juggle their newfound workload, meeting new people, figuring out their sexuality and much more, all with heightened hormones.
There are 10 episodes of about 45 minutes. The show has recently started shooting their second season.
The show was created by Mindy Kaling (The Office, Late Night) and Justin Noble (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Never Have I Ever). The pair describe the girls in the show as, ‘a bundle of contradictions and hormones, these college girls are equal parts lovable and infuriating’.
Who is in the show?
The main four roommates are played by Pauline Chalamet (The King Of Staten Island), Amrit Kaur (Little Italy), Renee Rapp (Broadway’s Mean Girls) and Alyah Chanelle Scott (Broadway’s The Book of Mormon).
Other notable cast members include Midori Francis, Gavin Leatherwood, James Morosini, Christopher Meyer, Nicole Sullivan and Ilia Isorelys Paulino.

UK viewers can watch The Sex Lives Of College Girls on ITV2 every Sunday at 10pm. The whole series can be binged on ITV hub for those of you who cannot wait for Sunday to come quickly enough.

The show has been greenlit for a second season already, so they must be doing something right. Additionally, it has an outstanding 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
