Things To Bring To Uni For Your Most Productive And Organised Year Yet

Packing up your room at home and making sure you bring to university with you all of your essentials can be a hard task.

You want to ensure you take all the things you think you may need, yet also not clutter your new room with things that will just take up space.

Below are some things that I would suggest to ensure that you can start the year not in a packing haze, but in as much as an organised state as possible.

Pack an Essential Box

This is a great way to be able to find the things that you will need in your first few days of Uni without having to rummage through all of your belongings before you have even unpacked them.

Things to include in this essential box are your phone and laptop charger, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, and bands. This is so you can have everything necessary at the tip of your fingers straight away.

Label Your Packing

As simple as this sounds, labelling your packing into boxes can be a much easier way to organise your new room instead of putting everything into one large suitcase.

Labelling casual clothes, pyjamas, going out clothes, and everyday clothes, will allow you to unpack in your own time without being overwhelmed with the amount of stuff you have brought with you.

Great Purchases for your Uni Room

Having a whiteboard in your room can be a great way to ensure you don’t forget your deadlines, certain readings, and also important events in your social calendar.

This can be a great way to stay as organised as possible. Additionally, starting your year off by using a notebook to write to-do lists, deadlines, and things that you can then tick off when they have been achieved.

This can be a helpful way to keep on top of your work and jot important things down during your lectures.
