TikTok changed its profile description on the app to ‘I’m Beyoncé’s app now’ after the singer made her debut with a fan compilation video.
The ‘Halo’ singer made her debut on the video-sharing app announcing her presence with a video compilation of her fans dancing to her latest single ‘Break My Soul’, after joining in December 2021.
Beyoncé TikTok
The 40-year-old finally joined TikTok and already gained over 3.6 million followers after she posted her debut video showing fans dancing to her latest hit.
In the video, which features the caption ‘Seeing y’all release the wiggle made me so happy! Thank you so much for all the love for BREAK MY SOUL! – Love B’, numerous different TikTok users can be seen dancing along to her own song from the upcoming Renaissance album – and Beyoncé even went to so far as to credit all the videos she’s used.
Cardi B even makes an appearance in the video which now has over 8.7 million views.
Since joining TikTok even changed its own account bio to ‘I’m Beyoncé’s app now’ in celebration of her arrival – similar to changing the name to ‘SwiftTok’ when Taylor Swift joined the app.
Beyoncé’s entire music catalogue has also been uploaded to the app for creators to use in their videos.
Fans lose it over Beyoncé TikTok
Fans of the singer are, naturally, losing it over her joining the app and many have complimented her for correctly crediting the users whose videos she sampled for her debut.
