Adam Rose found fame after his lockdown TikTok moves, and now he’s back with the TikTok Dance Challenge 2022, here’s the whole trend explained.
TikTok became synonymous with dance challenges at the beginning of the pandemic – it was perfect, dances take a bit of time to learn and everyone had an abundance of it during lockdown.
Now everyone from Lizzo to Louis Theroux have their own TikTok dance trends – but none come with quite the level of comedy as Adam Rose’s.
Who is Adam Rose?
Adam Rose might be well known for his TikTok creator status, but the 35-year-old is actually an actor with such titles under his belt as Veronica Mars, New Amsterdam, and L.A’s Finest.
However, as productions shut down and everyone had to stay inside Adam developed his presence in the metaverse and soon became a household name after he took to TikTok in his signature blue cardigan.
You may remember back in the early days of 2020 the ‘Woah dance challenge’ erupted on the app, well in response to this Adam made an ‘alternative’ version of the dance which became even more viral than the OG and got over 19.9 million views, 3.1 million likes and celebrities like Jessica Alba even took part in the trend.

They say lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice, but it clearly does for Adam as he’s back in 2022 with a new tutorial to add to the dance trend – or as he put it ‘class is back in session’.
The new dance – which like the original has some comical descriptions of dance moves such as ‘double loser’ or ‘kick the child and pose’ – has over 10 million views on the app, almost 1 million likes, and over 11,000 videos have been made and uploaded using the sound.
TikTok creators have even teamed up with Adam to collab making a video of then doing his dance before he jumps in to dance with them. This includes the creator HappyKelli and OldGays where Adam has jumped in to the video with them.
Adam even did his own tutorial of Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time’ dance which she featured in her debut on TikTok.
