Top 10 Best Snacks To Take To The Library

Add as preferred source on Google

For some people, the library is the perfect place to sit for a few hours and get a good chunk of work done. However, you do need to be tactical when it comes to your snack box.

The last thing you want is everyone aggressively staring at you each time you crunch down on your apple. So, here are ten snacks you can pack, to avoid those loud tummy rumbles of hunger.

Sandwich

Any kind of sandwich will be perfect for a mid-sesh snack. You just need to make sure your chosen filling is quiet; spare the crunchy lettuce. So, maybe plump for tuna, ham, cheese or even Nutella, if you’re feeling fancy.

Grapes/Berries

These pint-sized bits of fruit are a great choice. Put them in a little tub and nibble at them whilst you’re working. If you’re in a secluded part of the library you could even try to throw them up and catch them in your mouth, depending on your confidence.

Smoothies

Let’s be clear, smoothies will need some at-home preparation. Don’t go bringing your blender to the library, that will truly defeat the purpose. But once you’ve made your smoothie, you have the perfect library snack to keep you going on those longer visits.

Banana

This is quite self-explanatory, right? Banana’s are the classic silent fruit. You can bring it as is, or chop it up and put it with some other quiet fruits in a tub.

Gummy Bears

If you’re after a sweet treat, these are perfect. Maybe open the packet before you get to the library and put them into a tub. If you think you can strategically open those packets quietly, then go for it!

String Cheese

Bring back your childhood lunches with this classic snack and peel away! Just know that if you chomp a string cheese instead of peeling it, just know you are wrong.

Yoghurt

Choose your favourite flavour and make sure you bring a spoon! Nothing could be worse than trying to drink a yoghurt becuase you forgot to bring the proper utensil.

Melon

Most fruits are library worthy, and melon is no exception. If you don’t want to get sticky fingers, maybe bring a fork or pre-cut it and bring them in a tub.

Hardboiled/Scotch Egg

Whilst this is another staple choice for the library lunch box, you do need to be wary of the potential smell that eggs may give off. If you’re in a small, densley populated section of the library, maybe hold off on getting the eggs out.

Pitta Bread and Hummus

Closing out our lunchbox is the ultimate snack. This combo is a top tier bit of food, perfect for all occasions. Both filling and tasty, pitta and hummus are the OTP.
