What Are The Brit Awards?
The Brit Awards (British Record Industry Trusts Show) are awarded for British feats in the music industry. It first aired in 1977 marking the late Queen Elizabeth II’s silver jubilee. Notable Brit Awards winners include Stormzy, One Direction and Adele, who currently has 12 gongs to her name.
Robbie Williams holds the most Brit Awards overall, with a grand total of 13. Another notable win came in 2021, when Little Mix became the first female group to receive the Brit for Best Group in the show’s history.
