If you’re considering applying to Greenwich University, it’s natural that you would want to know what its strengths and weaknesses are. Greenwich University has a lot to offer, with three campuses in London and Kent, a strong learning community and plenty of support resources. Whether it’s a good fit for you will depend on a multitude of factors, but one of the most important is that it has a good programme in your chosen field of study. Is University of Greenwich Good For Computer Science?

The University of Greenwich ranks at #76 for Computer Science in the UK according to The Complete University Guide and #84 according to the Guardian. The university offers flexibility with this degree, with students having the option to choose the core Computer Science course or specialise in a number of areas including Networking, Games, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. You can opt to take the course three years full-time, six years part-time, or four years as a sandwich degree.

Is Greenwich University Good For Engineering?

Greenwich University offers several different engineering courses, including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and more. It ranks at #42 for Mechanical Engineering according to The Complete University Guide. The BEng Computer Engineering course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology. The university also offers a range of research opportunities in the engineering sector, including a project developing technology to create hearing tech for the deaf.

Is Greenwich University Good For MBA?

The University of Greenwich offers a well-regarded MBA in International Business. The course has a focus on change management as well as business strategy, and is internationally recognised. You can opt to take the course for two years full-time or four years part-time. The course includes arranging an internship to develop your practical business skills. The Business School also offers a range of employability opportunities for students, including help with placements and work experience. The Passport Scheme creates a portfolio of a student’s extracurricular experience via a points system to ease the transition into work.
